Ella has needed a hair cut for some time now. My thinking was I would just let her hair grow out all one length and pull it back. In the mean time use barrettes to hold it back. However, Ella keeps removing the barrettes. I still have been very resistant on cutting bangs, even after several hints from her daycare. Once we create bangs they will need to be maintained. Last night - Chad and I finally gave in. I wish I would have taken a before picture because we cut at least 2 inches to create the bangs. When I say we, I mean Dad did the cutting and I was responsible for holding Ella still.
Ella is starting to enjoy wearing hats. On occasion, she will pick up a hat and put it on by herself. Sometimes it is on correctly other times it is not. Here is Ella and Dad during our bedtime routine.
