Ella's First Race - 3rd Place Finish

Ella ran her first race this weekend. She finished third and was the first girl to cross the line :) She loves to run!

Vacation

As always we had a blast in Michigan. We spent time in Sparta and then hung out at the lake house we rented for the week. The highlights for Ella were: Riding the jet ski's, playing in the sand, riding on the boat, eating ice cream, and going fishing with Grandpa (she caught 7 fish). Below are a few pictures

Summer Fun

We have had lots of fun this summer with the garden. Lots of tomatoes, green beans, sweet peas, potatoes and carrots. While those are good to eat, I think my favorite are the sunflowers. 

 

Probably the best $5 investment of the summer was this Splash and Play (aka Slip & Slide). It took a few times for Ella to get the hang of it.

Part Girl/Part Fish
